TOAST Gift Card Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the purchase and usage of both eGift Cards and Gift Cards, subsequently referred to as "the TOAST Gift Card" below.

  1. The TOAST Gift Card is not a credit, debit or charge card.
  2. You may use the TOAST Gift Card to make purchases on www.toa.st.
  3. The TOAST Gift Card cannot be redeemed on other websites or in other stores selling TOAST products.
  4. Once purchased, TOAST Gift Cards cannot be topped up. A new TOAST Gift Card will need to be issued for any additional amount required.
  5. The TOAST Gift Card cannot be purchased using another gift card.
  6. TOAST Gift Cards may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the value on the card on payment of the difference.
  7. When you use the TOAST Gift Card, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card. Change will not be given. You will not earn any interest on the balance. You can check the remaining balance on the card by contacting our Customer Service team (see clause 18).
  8. All refunds of goods purchased with the TOAST Gift Card will be made in accordance with TOAST’s refund policy (www.toa.st/returns). This does not affect any rights you have under applicable law.
  9. If any product purchased with a TOAST Gift Card is subsequently returned, any refund will be added to the remaining balance on the TOAST Gift Card.
  10. You may only redeem your TOAST Gift Card for a purchase in the same currency for which the TOAST Gift Card was purchased. TOAST Gift Cards in currencies other than USD are unable to be used in TOAST Shops in the US.
  11. The TOAST Gift Card cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, except where required by applicable law, including any applicable requirement to redeem a remaining balance for cash.
  12. Refunds will not be given for the purchase of a TOAST Gift Card.
  13. Please protect your TOAST Gift Card and treat it as cash. Lost, stolen or damaged TOAST Gift Cards cannot be replaced, except where required by applicable law.
  14. TOAST will cancel the value of the TOAST Gift Card if we fail to receive payment from the purchaser’s bank or card company for the initial purchase of the TOAST Gift Card. Further action may be taken where the fraudulent use of a credit card is suspected.
  15. TOAST Gift Cards do not expire and have no expiry date.
  16. TOAST reserves the right to cancel or refuse to accept a TOAST Gift Card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected by fraud.
  17. TOAST reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so. Any changes will apply only to TOAST Gift Cards purchased after the revised terms and conditions take effect, unless otherwise required by applicable law. Any changes will not affect the value, redemption rights, or validity period of TOAST Gift Cards already issued.

  20. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any rights you have under the laws of the state in which you purchased or use your TOAST Gift Card. Where those laws differ from these terms (for example, on cash redemption of remaining balances or unclaimed property), the applicable state law will apply and supersede these terms to the extent required.
  21. Subject to clause 20, these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
