Moroccan Glassware
Moroccan glassware hand-blown from recycled glass at the Beldi Country Club in Marrakesh. The group of 60 artisans are from the last glass factory in Morocco. They recycle two tons of glass a day, with any waste from the process melted down to be used again.
Recycled glass carafe hand-blown at the Beldi Country Club in Marrakesh. Shaped with a lipped rim, tapered neck and rounded base with thick walls. Slight warps, marks and air bubbles are traces of the artisanal process.
Beldi is the last remaining glass factory in Morocco. Its team of 60 artisans recycle two tons of glass per day with any waste from the process melted down to be re-used.
