Teapot hand-thrown by Leach in Cornwall exclusively for TOAST. Leach Pottery was founded in St. Ives by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada and is one of the most respected studio potteries in the world. With internal drainage holes for loose leaf tea. Finished with a glaze made from rice straw, ground stone and clay inspired by the Japanese Nuka glaze. The tip of the lid and base are left unglazed. Will hold four cups of tea. Each varies slightly in shape and glaze tone.
