King
King is a refined and intimate bistro. The small menu changes everyday, using thoughtfully sourced, seasonal ingredients. On the corner of 6th Avenue and King Street, tables outside are perfect for al fresco dining in fine weather. Its wine list is considered, and their discrete service is commendable.

L’Appartement 4F
L’Appartement 4F brings the delicate flavours and technical expertise of the Parisian epicerie to West Village. A bakery by day, the space transforms into a partial wine bar when the sun goes down. Founded by husband and wife duo Gautier and Ashley Coiffard, this spot retains the personal touch. Hand-rolled croissants, fermented sourdoughs, and artisanal pastries are the cornerstone of langorous mornings spilling into afternoons within their stripped back, French country interiors.

Tokyo Record Bar
Founded to bring Japan’s listening culture to New York, this intimate but lively bar is a music-first space. They offer a seven-course Izakaya style menu and a vinyl jukebox experience. The upstairs bar had a seated lounge atmosphere and there is a restaurant downstairs, both benefitting from a high-fidelity soundsystem.

Greenwich House Pottery
Greenwich House Pottery, a fixture in the West Village since 1909, is a quiet space for ceramics enthusiasts. Located on Jones Street, it offers classes and workshops for all levels and hosts artist residencies. In 2024, a second studio opened in Chelsea, continuing its legacy of supporting craft and creativity.

The Commerce Inn
Jody Williams and Rita Sodi have transformed New York’s West Village into a hub of exceptional dining, blending their passion for quality ingredients and timeless flavors. Rita’s I Sodi, a cosy Tuscan restaurant, set the stage in 2008 with its meticulously crafted, home-style Italian dishes. Three Lives Bookstore
The lifeblood of Three Lives bookstore is its staff and community of devoted readers and writers. The depth and breath of literary knowledge in the team has drawn writers and artists since 1978. TOAST Nolita, New York
Our TOAST West Village shop is situated on the tree-lined West Street, set within a historic row of Federal-style houses. It sits in the heart of the West Village amid brownstones, galleries, and independent bookshops. Built in 1827, the building was first licensed for retail in 1910. The nearest subway stations are Sheridan Square and Washington Square.
